About Amber Dunlop-Pajo

Originally from New Zealand, Amber has been working as a psychologist in Australia for over 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and Master of Psychology (Health) as well as Graduate Certificates in Management and Nutrition. She is a registered Health Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.


For the 8 years prior to moving to Scotland Amber had been working at Cancer Council Queensland providing support to those affected by cancer in regional, remote and metropolitan communities. Prior to this she worked for a range of private, public and not-for-profit organisations.


In private practice in addition to providing counselling Amber provided supervision to trainee psychologists, psychologist undertaking their Master’s degrees and professional supervision to a range of practitioners.

  • Workplace Inclusivity Workshops

Amber has a particular interest in womens’ health including life transitions for women, such as menopause, parenthood, fertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy, retirement and separation as well as chronic health issues, chronic pain, carer stress and depression.
